Meet Your Providers

Carlos Silva, MD, FCCP

I’m a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with over fifteen years of experience caring for patients at some of the most critical points in their lives. I also serve as a physician in the U.S. Army Reserves, where I’ve had the honor of providing care to a wide range of individuals in diverse and challenging environments.

Throughout my years in medicine, one thing has become increasingly clear, the hard truth is we’ve lost sight of the importance of prevention. Too often, I meet patients in the ICU whose conditions have progressed beyond the point of recovery or meaningful quality of life. By then, it’s no longer about healing— it’s about managing the aftermath and preserving whatever quality of life we can.
That realization has driven me to refocus my work on early intervention, patient education, and accessible care. I believe that empowering people with knowledge and proactive guidance can prevent the late stage intervention that I’ve spent much of my career providing. My goal is to help patients take control of their health long before they ever find themselves in a hospital bed.

Jaime Silva, BSN, RN

I’m a proud graduate of UCF (Go Knights!), where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, my journey has taken me through some of the most critical areas of healthcare—ranging from pediatric to adult intensive care, and have spent my career caring for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Throughout my career, I’ve been a strong advocate for my patients. I believe that healthcare should be a collaborative process—one where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered. My mission is to bridge the gap between patient and physician by translating complex medical information into clear, compassionate guidance.
I’m especially passionate about women’s health—particularly in raising awareness around painful menstrual cycles, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. Too many women suffer in silence or go years without answers, and I’m committed to changing that narrative through education, support, and advocacy.
